Aug. 18, 1946 – June 17, 1995
Nancy Kay Fuller of Neodesha died of bone cancer Saturday afternoon, June 17, 1995, at her home. She was 48.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, June 20, at the Bible Christian Fellowship Church in Neodesha under the direction of the Loran Fawcett Funeral Home. Burial was in Shelley Cemetery.
The daughter of Lawrence and Jean E. (Newton) Hare, Nancy was born Aug. 18, 1946, in Neodesha. She was a 1964 graduate of Neodesha High School.
She married Harold “Butch” Fuller after graduation. They had two daughters, Cindy and Heather. They later divorced.
She worked at Neodesha Savings and Loan the last seven years of her life. Nancy was happiest when she was cooking and getting ready for a family gathering; making quilts; painting pictures; sewing for her girls; and doing other crafts. She enjoyed her church family and loved to go shopping.
Her memberships include the Bible Christian Fellowship Church, where she
was a leader and a teacher of children, and the Neodesha Chamber of Commerce, where she was a member of the board of directors.
Survivors include her daughters, Cindy Kittrell of Iola and Heather Fuller
of the home; three brothers: Jerry Hare, Clifford Hare and Rodney Hare, all
of Neodesha; a sister, Carol Gaines of Moore, OK; and a granddaughter, Courtney Kittrell of Iola.
