Carol Ellen Lindsay, age 75, loving mother, sister, aunt, grandma, great-grandma and friend to many, passed away Friday, Oct. 15, 2021. Carol was born June 11, 1946, in Newton, KS, to Clarence and Irene (Redington) Lindsay.

Carol LindsayCarol loved to read, was a gifted piano player and had a beautiful voice. She sang and played the piano in her parents’ church. When she got older, she was very involved in her high school choir. She laughed and smiled a lot, was great at giving advice, but rarely followed it herself.

As an adult she helped her parents run their ministry and was always very close to her mom and dad.

She loved to make afghans. She made them for all of her kids and grandkids. Usually before the babies were born, mom had a beautiful afghan waiting for them. Some of the pets even received them as gifts.

Carol loved her children and grandchildren so much and was always there for us and always made sure we knew how much she loved us. She also adored her brother and nieces and nephews.
